Can i condition my hair instead of shampoo my hair daily?

can i condition and wash out the conditioner would my hair be greasy? Can i condition my hair instead of shampoo my hair daily?
Yes you can! Some people find that their hair actually gets healthier because they're conditioning more, too. Shampoos contain sulfates that dry out your hair, and if you want to keep your hair clean and well conditioned then you might very well want to co-wash (conditioner wash) your hair more and use shampoo less.

When co-washing you should do it twice: The first time you should use the conditioner like you would shampoo, by squishing it around your hair to ';wash'; it. Rinse it. The second time you should use the conditioner for conditioning, that is let it sit in your hair for a few minutes. If you don't do both steps then you'll be neglecting something; either, you won't be cleaning your hair with the conditioner, or you won't be conditioning your hair because your hair won't be clean enough for the conditioner to penetrate your hair as a conditioner.

The only way to know if your hair would be greasy is to try it out. Even then you can try it with different conditioners and get different results or switch to an organic or natural shampoo that won't dry out your hair as much (they don't contain sulfates). You can also try a moisturizing shampoo that won't dry out your hair as much. If you want to stop using shampoo completely then there are no-shampoo lines of hair products. Wen is an example and has a cleansing conditioner that gets your hair clean like shampoo without drying it out. It's also a conditioner and deep conditioner all in one. Hair One is a generic version of Wen that's sold at Sally's Beauty Supply.

People with dry hair and curly hair types usually co-wash because curly hair usually gets dried out by over-shampooing. Also, with co-washing you'll eventually have to use shampoo because the conditioner can cause build-up. It doesn't get rid of everything in your hair, either, for instance, conditioner alone cannot get rid of mineral oil, so at some point you would have shampoo (or clarify) to get your hair completely clean, but conditioner can get rid of most ingredients/products that you put in your hair. Can i condition my hair instead of shampoo my hair daily?
I don't see the point on wetting the hair to put conditioner on it without shampooing. Don't shampoo every day if your hair doesn't need it (most doesn't) and there's no need to condition it either. If you have hair that tends to get greasy, it could and like I said, it's not necessary to condition for the sake of conditioning.
yes, and it might end up looking like this...

Well yes, shampoo actually cleans it, doesn't it?

Why don't you just wash your hair every other day if you're going to do that?
