How should i condition/shampoo my hair?

My hair is thick, long and straight. [asian, specifically. :D]

I know you shouldn't condition or shampoo too often, so HOW often?

and I've heard that you should condition the ends, not the roots. should i try that? and what difference does that make?

sorry i asked so much! just answer what you can, thanks! :)How should i condition/shampoo my hair?
Hi well i have thick curly italian hair. and i shampoo and condition every other day. I shampoo and condition starting at the ends and the work my way up to my roots, every sunday, wednesday, friday and of coarse take a shower every day just put ur hair up in a bun and jump in. For your end-root question i do it because it makes my hair smell and feel like 40 times better. and it also hydrates the ends (where it's dead) more than the roots, the roots don't really even need conditioning because it has a natural oil at the top of your roots/ hair that hydrates. well i hope i help.

Peace and Love (:How should i condition/shampoo my hair?
Just shampoo and conditioner every other day..

if hair is oily just use a dry shampoo( from sephoras or drugstore)its amazing!!! you just spray on roots and its fresh again!!

someties with thisI can go 3days if doing a up do or something!

also You need to condition some all over.. but what to do is get you confitioner and put it and end and work up to roots. so not as much get there..

not starting at root keeps them from getting as greasy so soon..
Try out a brand called Zioxin. You must use both the shampoo and conditioner for it to be effective. It is healthy for the hair, you have to follow it long term to see results, and helps to prevent hair loss and damage.
